- Our Lagoon 450 Catamaran has 3 levels of deck space.
- There is sunbathing and enjoy swinging in the hammock on the padded upper deck as well as seating for 8 people at the helm.
- Our mid deck is pure entertainment with Dining in the spacious aft cockpit area or Air Conditioned Salon, a fully equipped galley (kitchen) and the forward area have another cockpit for seating and the trampolines for dolphin watching.
- Escape to the privacy of your own Air Conditioned cabin and bathroom on the Lower Deck.
- Your Catamaran Charter can leave from the Flamingo Marina.

UPPER DECK
Best View in the World
Enjoy soaking up the sun on our large padded deck area or chillin in the hammock while looking up at the sails or scanning the horizon for Whales, Dolphins and Turtles. There is also a long bench seat on the Fly Bridge that comfortably seats 8 people along with the Captain at the Helm.
The Upper Deck also makes for a fun leap to the water!
MID DECK
This is where it all happens
We have the very spacious aft cockpit with a large dining table and seating, lounge seat, drink coolers, trolling rods for fishing and BBQ area for cooking those fish.
We have a comfortable air conditioned Salon Dining Area with a Fully Equipped Galley (kitchen) including a refrigerator, freezer & deep freezer, gas stove top & oven, microwave and of course a good blender!
Forward of the Salon is another cockpit seating area. Our new large trampolines are safe, strong and great for relaxing, dancing or letting the kids go wild.
LOWER LEVEL
Solitude
Below Decks: Enjoy the privacy of having your own Air Conditioned Cabin and private bathroom.
Our Lower Deck has four luxury cabins, each featuring a double bed, individual A/C unit with climate control and lots of natural light. Each cabin also has it’s very own bathroom with electric toilet, sink, large mirror and shower with hot & cold running water.
ABOUT US
Captain Mark arrived in Flamingo Beach, Costa Rica in 1989 and was the first to start the sailing charter business in the area. Born in Seal Beach, California. Mark grew up sailing on the Southern California coast. Leaving at age 20 to sail and explore the world, he did just that becoming a yacht delivery captain.
After over 80,000 nautical blue water miles he sailed his own yacht “Surfari” a 42′ sloop with only his dog Gilligan to accompany him to Costa Rica.
Capt. Mark started the sailing charter business with Surfari as well as being a partner in building the first full service marina in Central America, the Marina Flamingo. In 1991 Capt. Mark charted out the N. Pacific coast of Costa Rica for the publication Charlie’s Charts of Costa Rica, a very popular cruising guide showing the best spots to take your boat.
Mark sailed monohulls in Flamingo for 13 years before sailing the first catamaran charter in Costa Rica in 2003. Since then he has stuck with the catamaran side of sailing.
Mark lives next to Flamingo in Playa Potrero with his wife and two children.
